The Wild Pair

Here is what I did today for the WDE on Wetcanvas, a 10x14 inch acrylic inks on background and the watercolor on the swans. I have not used acrylic inks for almost two years, and the last time I used it on a tiny ATC card. So this time I find it difficult to handling the acrylic ink background as wet-on-wet since the ink dried up super fast. Anyway, I am happy with the result. Pepper#2

This is a life-drawing ATC size using acrylic ink on a 140 lb Winsor Newton watercolor paper. It was sent to a Wetcanvas member in New Zealand. I still have another one in the same series traveling somewhere to the USA. It was fun to try doing more work in acrylic ink. I am still new to it.

Butterfly Transformation

Finally some of my art cards start to arrive at their destination. This one is an acrylics ink postcard done from my imagination of Spring time. I was having so much excitement trying new medium, acrylics ink. They sure are very bright and intense. I like the loose feel of this piece.

Denver Art Museum

This is a 4x6 inch acrylic ink postcard. My sister in law kindly took the reference photos for me. She lives in Denver and working to become an emerging artist as well. I hope I get to visit her home city and this museum soon. I am quite happy with this card as it is my first time with acrylic ink.
