Baby time

Nope.... not another baby...I am getting too old to chase a new one, never mind running after Miss Lily, a fourteen month old. I am talking about my freshly done sketches of kido stuffs. My kind colleague just gave Lily a nice sweet pair of shoewear from England. They are a bit too small for her so I am returning them to my colleague but I can't help myself sketching them in gouache on my homemade brown paper bag sketchbook. Enjoy.

Tropical gazebo

This is done from a WDE gazebo reference photo by Khun Dewi on Wetcanvas. I did this one in 1hr 30 min. as a 6x9 inch using gouache. As I am a garden person, to get to paint something like this is like all my senses are bubling with joy. I goof off a bit on the poles but I still like the feel of it.

Chinese temple in Bangkok

This is a gouache postcard for Wetcanvas's Dream holiday project. I have sent it almost a month ago. I hope it arrives safely. This is the biggest Chinese temple in Thailand built by the fund from Chinese government to be the gift to our king. They say that the architecture is adapted from the forbidden city but much smaller. But even then, it is still a huge and gorgeous structure. I felt like I was in China when I visit the place.
