The eighteen month baby.

Well, I try to record Miss Lily. She will turn eighteen month in a few days. She is a big baby, husky like a Ukranian weight lifter, and can be very loud and ruthless. Luckily today she was having a nap that I can sneak in a sketch of her mighty legs.

My favorite thing

It is... tadah... my DH, Tone. He is done in a digital with TwistedBrush freeware. Sorry folk for being gone quite some time; we are experiencing waves of family sickness.

I am back -- Self portrait

I had been exhausted for the past week. A week ago I flew with the team to do some research in the northern province of Thailand over the weekend. Then back Sunday night for the regular work week. I had a Tuesday late night work follow by early morning Wed. work... I was so disoriented. So I had to skip several days of my blog and even one piano lesson. The good news is, now I am back to my normal self again. Thanks for your good vibe.

Today I get to do a life self-portrait with Plumeria flower on my hair. The painting is about 9x11.5 inch using Rembrandt soft pastel on my big sketch book.

Masai Woman

This is an 8x6 inch watercolor, 'Masai Woman', using a ref. photo from Flickr by MaurizioCasadei. It is fun to see colors but I guess I also need more drawing practice for next time. ;-)
