This is a sketch of my DH, Tone and our nine day old baby, Lily, done from life. I did this with a brown Stabilo pen and W&N watercolor in my 6x8 inch Thai sketchbook.

Ai - These gorgeous sketches HAVE to be turned into a special book!!!! We need a picture of you with the baby to go with these. Please post a photo of both of you, or send me one so I can sketch the two of you together.

Ai, congrat on the newest addition to your family. I love your paintings of her. We also have a new baby in the family about 5 weeks old now. There is something so wonderful about what babies do to a family!
