Yesterday, we learn about shading. The instructor asked us to used no lines. I was having fun with the class again. I started the first few with pencils then switched to Conte crayons later. All done in newsprint size paper.

Wow, I already see improvement over last week. Don't worry about faces yet, it'll come.
Thanks so much for the advice, Julie.
You get so much done in a short amount of time!!!!
Ai, love the life drawing so far - with the time restrictions it can be hard to do the entire figure, so don't worry about the face. Just put in a few lines to suggest the face. And don't forget that in the short studies you can always concentrate on one part of the anatomy, like perfecting a foot or a hand or even the way the thumb joins the hand.
Good luck with it all! Keep posting them.

that's most interesting, i came across in papers about a live drawing class somewhere before.
it must be interesting, is it open to public, how often do they have such classes again, is it still a place for next session?
cheers
